Most foreigners love America from all the travels I've had.How is America viewed by other countries?I'm from ireland. Most people around here think that america is a place where everyone is obese and stupid. people also generally mock america because of its leadership (george bush was a source of much hilarity). we also believe that your chocolate is absolutely awful (which is true), and that the kids all look much older than they are (but that's just the tv shows probably). Basically we all hate america for screwing up the earth with war, pollution and terrible terrible tv shows.How is America viewed by other countries?I'm from England and i view your country in a generally positive light. I plan on moving to your country when im older because i think i'll like it and i love barak obama he just seems so with it and serious and determined! The corporations and legal swarms and the military are no longer appreciated except for economic benefit such as a air base near your town. The gratitude for America's rescue of capitalism in WWII is over with and The Empire is irritating it's enemies every day with it's support for Israel and oil companies and so forth. The Ugly American is no longer a rude and thoughtless tourist on the loose, but a gang of financial tricksters who control business and laws in most of the world, regardless of social and economic and environmental damage. Now WE are the colonizers of the Global Empire.
But again, as an individual gringo, you can be welcome and have fun when you travel or work abroad. Learn a few phrases at least and find out who the president is, a museum or famous place, like that. I like the fact that u guys r free to express n do things. Usually people(family, frnds n society) dont judge u, they wont mind ur way or what u do. Its a better place to live for the above reasons. LGBT grp has enough space n freedom to live with their partners. It's horrible in India, i hvnt seen or heard a single person coming out of closet. Im not comparing but sharing my concerns. Every country has good n bad sides. I love my country for its goodness n profuse thoughts!!
Right now, I dont mind abt other facts of America or India like political, power issues or whatever!! Im worried about basic needs(lk above) n comfort level for a person to live in his own country. All the above facts bothers me!! Please mail me how abt america in ur own words coz u are a native so that i get a clear picture. I often hear that Americans do not care abt Indians(or all foreigners?) who lives in thr n dont even mingle with them or mk mfrnds with thm and kinda separate them... Do Americans dislike us? r they racists ie most of them? pls let me kn.
