How do you thank America changed after 911?

I'm doing a report about how 911 changed America and I was just wondering how you thank it changed.

Thanks =]How do you thank America changed after 911?I would say it changed our government more than us as citizens. I'll keep further opinions to myself,How do you thank America changed after 911?We became a lot more united towards each other and then years later, like now,it's like we've forgotten about it:(

How do you thank America changed after 911?Made us closer, more alert i'm guessin.i didn't see so many flags hang up until after 9/11

it made us stronger as a nation and even today , we'll never forget it. God does love the USAHow do you thank America changed after 911?we have been more careful about who we let on to airplanes... and check to see if their are weapons or anything dangerous to a flight. and we all got closerHow do you thank America changed after 911?It put the spotlight on Muslims and made them a scapegoat. It made Americans as a whole more distrustful of people. How do you thank America changed after 911?after 911 people looked at some foreigners different then what they did before

we all helped out the fire and police depts,

now most of america has forgotten about 9.11 and why we are fighting this war on terror,

i know every time i see a service man or woman i thank them for the fine job well done,, How do you thank America changed after 911?It has made me even more suspicious of the government and the army.

Meanwhile people have become paranoid beyond belief.

Racial and religious profiling is far too commonplace.

A friend of mine whose parents came to America from India has been mistaken for Arab though he has more of an American accent than many people whose name is literally John Smith.

Everyone living in America is either an immigrant or the descendant of one. It makes me think of John Lennon's song Imagine (look up the lyrics if you like)

To those who label all Arabs (who are not all Muslim) as terrorists, well how would you like it if all Americans were seen in the same light as Timothy McVeigh?

He was but one - most Americans are good, honest people.
