Is America changing in terms of interracial dating (couple vary a lot)?

Back in my day the only interracial couples we ever saw involved Blacks and Whites. Black man with a White woman and White man with an Asian woman.

I live in the Northeast (New England area), in an area that is about 40 percent White and 60 percent non-White. Now in this area the interracial couples I commonly see are the following:

Middle Eastern or Indian men (India) (can't tell the difference) - Hispanic women (friends tell me this pairing is rare but I see it a lot, I have 5 Indian friends married to Latinas, and my god they have produced some beautiful kids)

Black men - Asian women

Asian men - Black women

Hispanic men - Asian women

People online say that it is rare and they have a tough time believing it. My neighbor who has lived here since 1980 told me that the interracial dating atmosphere has changed so much because back then most couples were Black man with a White woman or White man with a Black woman.

Is America changing?

Soon will it be common to see Hispanic women with Asian or Indian (India) men, Black men with Asian women, Asian men with Black women and Hispanic men with Asian women? Is America changing in terms of interracial dating (couple vary a lot)?I guess Americans are accepting the truth that skin color doesn't make anyone better or worse than anyone else. Skin color doesn't mean you are good or bad, smart or dumb, kind or mean. There are all of those types in every skin color and culture world wide.Is America changing in terms of interracial dating (couple vary a lot)?i live in the US and yes, it is changing.

there are many interracial couples here and it

very common to see them.

its very funny because now and days it doesnt

even surprise us, when many years ago we used

to point with shocked faces.

the world is changing, and its a beautiful thing. Is America changing in terms of interracial dating (couple vary a lot)? They probably say it's rare because where they live there might not see as many races as you might. This good-sized town in Texas where I live there's less than 20 Asians who live in it so in my perspective that would be rare. I hoped to God America is changing! I really don't notice race that much. I consider us all the same. You may see a black person with a white person but I just see a person with another person. Race is overrated. Is America changing in terms of interracial dating (couple vary a lot)? This is America.

Much of world history expected color, race, class, etc. to marry within their own groups. No exceptions, unless being shunned from society was something the couple could handle and in Romeo and Juliet's case, it didn't work out well for anyone involved. Since America is made up of many cultures, more than I have been able to keep track of, there is an abundance of opportunity. Race and class can mix in the workplace, schools, etc.

My own family married one royal to one commoner, then mixed american indian and irish, and then poor irish with mexican, and so on, and so on. Rich and Poor on the social class scale, some educated well and some not. We have Polish, Mexican, American Indian, Irish, Norwegian, Samoan, African American, Scottish, and English. These are some of the ones we know of. Whether this is a new trend or not, I don't think so as %26quot;unrequited love%26quot; or %26quot;forbidden love%26quot; has been a popular literary theme for centuries.

If families could do the research, they might be surprised at the amount of %26quot;culture%26quot; they have in their family background. American or another world culture, makes no difference as long as the appreciation and tolerance for each other is there. I believe it makes us richer.

P.S. Amen fellow answerers...
