I was raised by an uber-hippie liberal who has devoted her career and life to promoting multiculturalism. I know the whole spiel. I believed it. Until I realized that all of the black people that I knew, even my 'friends', were racist against me, hating me because I'm white.
I'm sick of being blamed for every bad thing that happens to every person that isn't white. My kids and I live in poverty, but somehow we're privileged. The black people in my neighborhood are very vocal about their racism on the street, on the train, at my daughters' schools. The kids are never disciplined for what they do at school, though, because the school doesn't want to look racist.
You know what else? That article bitches and whines about 'uncivilized Europeans' conquering the world. Really? Look at how great Detroit is doing under black rule. Look at how great South Africa is doing now, violence, rape, murder, poverty, yeah, it's really improved.
You bet I'm scared of the black youths that congregate on the corner to rob me when I try to go buy milk at the corner store. Is that civilized?
Or the flash mobs in Philadelphia?
