Seriously, this stimulus business is the stupidest idea. It is predicated on the notion that if we take water out of one end of a pool, spill half on the ground, and dump the rest in the other end of the pool, the water level will go up.How come every dollar of the $1 TRILLION stimulus package isn't devoted to energy independence for America?Gas went back down below $2 a gallon, so there won't be any political pressure to do that until this recession is over.
