Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?

Ever since the beggining why do some people say that america is changing towards more undemocratic waysWhy do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?because some people are becoming more and more paranoidWhy do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?democracy is tyranny of the people, by the peopleWhy do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?because uncontrolled capitalism has stripped away our democracy. It's becoming a severe problem. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?Because the central government keeps growing in reach and power and becoming less responsive to the people. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic? We don't have any direction. Everything is out of control. Nothing good is happening and the President is obsessed with winning this healthcare battle regardless of what the people want. He sux as a leader. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic? You should provide some examples. I can see that women and minorities are doing better with employment and opportunities. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?Voter turnout in the last presidential election was higher than it has been for quite a while, but still discouragingly low. Democracy requires the involvement of the people to work; otherwise, it is just like a balloon full of air.Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?Because the people that you vote for don't represent the majority. They represent a small elite that control the whole ball of wax. A two party system controlled by one entity is not democracy. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?I hope we are becoming more 'undemocratic'. America is a republic not a democracy. Democracies are based on majority rule and our constitution explicitly spells out that we are not a democracy but a republic-which is based on elected representatives governing for the masses. Democracies are really good if you're in the majority, but really bad if you're in the minority. Why do some people say America is becoming more and more undemocratic?Because America has become the best democracy money can buy. There's a revolving door between Corporations and Government. Big Businesses like oil, banking, and big Pharmaceutical companies or even defense contractors spend billions buying up the very politicians you and I vote for, in effect, purchasing them so that they don't make laws that might hurt the interest of the big businesses. Take ,for example, a law that forces car companies to make a car that runs on hydrogen--Oil companies will spend every dime they have to prevent that; the same goes for war policy, health care policy, and the environmental policy, big money talks louder than our votes to elected officials.
