How has war changed america's role since 1968?

I doing a history project and this is my inquiry question i need to anwser....all I know is that we were in vitenam war in 1968....So can anyone tell me how america's role changed??How has war changed america's role since 1968?c'mon man do your own homework! How has war changed america's role since 1968?America is the biggest war monger in the world. Because of our false wars and aggressions world-wide we are seen as aggressors world-wide and hated universally.

Wars we have declared on others are seen as imposing our views on others.

These include Vietnam, Laos, Grenada, Iraq (twice), Afghanistan, Panama, Cuba and Cambodia. How has war changed america's role since 1968?Countries come crying to us to help them and we do it. They no longer fight their own wars, we do it for them. Trouble is, we no longer go into war wanting to win it, which is silly.

Yeung.....how many wars has China been involved in? Check your history. How has war changed america's role since 1968?dig into your history book and take the time to read it. You'll never get anywhere having someone else do your homework! How has war changed america's role since 1968?I joined a few years later. The military had lots of shortages since the Vietnam thing cost a lot of money. I was amazed that we did not get pugil-stick training.

There was some very thoughtful reexamining of what militaries are supposed to do. There was also a bunch of baloney, like saying the m-16 is bad. Some of what they came up with wasn't really new, like don't fight unless it's really important. Otto von Bismarck once said the thing they wanted him to fight over %26quot;wasn't worth the bones of a single Pomeranian Grenadier%26quot;. One really good new thing was the understanding of %26quot;groupthink%26quot;, where a whole bunch of really smart guys can totally screw up the decision making process.

I felt bad about how empty my army was, defending the west against the soviets. In time I came to realize that we just had to be there and that was mostly good enough.
