Not all mexi's are going to take the jobs. If you look at tech jobs or medicine or anything else that needs a higher ed. degree, those jobs are going to Asians, Middle Easterners, and Indians (from India).
If you did go to Mexico you will find a lot of American fare, like Walmart, Home Depot, Coke, Pepsi, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Mtv,Abercrombie %26amp; Finch, etc. This 2nd world country is inundated with American products and the hope for the American dream.
Presidente Fox wants mexi's to keep on migrating for economic reasons; the country 1st income is oil, the second is money coming from the U.S.
you can't please eveybody on this issue. I believe most will acculturate if they really want to succedd. But every race does have it's strubborn people that don't EVER want change, it's too bad for them because they'll be left behind.
The truth is this: throwing them in jail will solve absolutely nothing. Jails are already overcrowded (especially with %26quot;minorities%26quot;). Do you know how much it would cost taxpayers to keep all those people in there? too damn much! Build a fence? It'll have to go 500 ft into the ground and 600ft into the air. Not to mention it'll have to extend for 1,000+ miles. Expensive and time consuming.

I don't think so. Did you know that in all airplanes they speak in English and in Spanish? Did you know that in all hotels they have everything in both languages? Did you know that all restaurants in tourist zones have menus in English? Did you know that Mexico is trying to teach English in all schools? All private schools teach English, and now the goal is that also public schools. Please call any Mexican company, and you can ask to speak to an English speaking person, and there would be a lot of options.
Immigrants don't want you to cancel your ethnics and beliefs. They just want to work, and for you to let them keep their beliefs. Go to a Mexican hotel, and you will find that everyone will speak to you in English.
Why the greatest economic power should help immigrants? Because it benefits the United States economy. Immigrants benefit the US economy.
