I hear a lot of reasons for their choice to be in America. They are willing to make big sacrifices to do it. Outside of the choice to break our laws which Americans have fought for. But, wouldn't they be best served to make necessary changes to their own country? I think they need to honor themselves by doing just that. I have heard it is because their leaders are corrupt. Hasn't been so different in other countries. It is a matter of honor or pride isn't it? The willingness to move that mountain. Or is it corruption at its core? And if that is so. Shouldn't America work to prevent that from coming into America? I am not judging as much as I don't get it. The Indians who used to work for no salary were no forced to do it any more, any way it was USA it self in Guatemala. I don檛 wanna make it long, your president Dwight Eisenhower decided that Guatemala was turning into a communist country he send a plane not an army, a plane to guate city people felt so much terror during those days. Also your government sent an army trained in Honduras to take jacobo arbenz's government so he said; 淚 wanted to change things here in Guatemala Give the poor what they need, but there is a power bigger than us we can't do nothing about it%26quot; . He quit that day, your president sent the CIA an they establish another government, one that couldn檛 touch the rich families interest any more. After that people felt so frustrated that some members of the Guatemalan army began a revolution. 30 years of war thousands and thousands of people killed, people with no education whit no opportunities of getting a well paid job, you know why, because we can檛 still choose our government whit out your government檚 permissions.
