Are we finally moving beyond race and gender, truly looking to character and heart?
I'd like to think so and I feel this primary season has shown just that.
I am an African American who grew up in an affluent white area. Race has never been a major issue in my life, however I am aware of the social issues our country still faces.
I hope what I am seeing is long lasting and truly transformational.
This is a wonderfully diverse country and I hope we truly begin to rally that point.
