What songs by The Who had to do with the change o f America in the 60's?Or what did The Who have to do with it?

Are there any songs that interpret the way America had changed in the 60's by the band, The Who? Or any songs that The Who made because of the change of America in the 60's? This is a part of a topic, the British Invasion and my group chose the music they played in the 60's that either impacted the change of America, or portrayed it. Any meaningful songs by The Who would be great. What songs by The Who had to do with the change o f America in the 60's?Or what did The Who have to do with it?They had very little to do with actual change. They were a group that patterned there music in the (then) current style. They did not make anything new like the beetles nor were they any more then passive participants in the lifestyles of the time.

Others, like the Dead changed and altered as the times drove their music... but sitll kept the same core.
